1 - Terms of sales
Terms of sales determins the relationship between LA ROUTE DU THÉ and customers.
Any order sent to LA ROUTE DU THÉ implies acceptance of these terms.
The Contractor acknowledges that he has taken cognizance of them.
The present general conditions of sale are intended to govern the contractual relations between The Tea Route and the customer.
The customer and the Tea Route adhere to it without reservation.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale prevail over any other conditions mentioned in any document except prior, express and written derogation.
All the items presented in this shopping gallery, benefit from our service of remote purchase.
Defective items : If you notice an abnormality in a product, we will exchange it immediately.
This contractual warranty is reserved for products subject to normal use and is in addition to the legal warranty applicable to any hidden defects in the product sold (article 1641 Civil Code).
In this case, the customer is reminded that he must act in a"short time" from the discovery of the hidden defect (article 1648 of the Civil Code), and to prove the existence of such a defect.
The expenses of reshipment remain at your expense, except in case of error of our part.
For any item weighing more than 152 Euros, we thank you to contact our customer service (see paragraph n ° 5).
2 - Prices
Our prices are valid for 1 year, from January 15th of year N to January 14th of year N + 1.
3 - Conditions and transport costs
Transport costs are valid for 1 year, from 15 January of year N to 14 January of year N + 1.
The transport costs are calculated according to the weight of the order and the destination.
The carriers used are : La Poste (Colissimo).
Import duties and miscellaneous charges, in countries other than the EEC, are due by the consignee. The goods are freight prepaid.
3.1 - The delivery
The delivery will be carried out by the Post Office or its subcontractors.
It can only intervene once the order validated by the Customer and the payment made.
The bank payment centers concerned will therefore have given their payment agreement in advance.
In case of refusal of these centers, the order will be canceled automatically.
In addition, LA ROUTE DU THÉ reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer with whom an ongoing dispute exists.
The delivery will be made to the address indicated by the customer, who undertakes to receive the products ordered.
In your absence at the time of delivery, a notice of transit will indicate where to collect your parcel or invite you to take a second appointment with the delivery person.
When you receive your package, do not forget to check immediately and in front of the deliverer its packaging and contents.
In the case of an article presented and defective or missing article, contact us and immediately make reservations on the packing slip that you will have to sign and contact us by e-mail or by telephone specifying your order number.
If you notice a problem after the driver leaves, contact us by e-mail or by phone.
We will tell you how to exchange or get your items refunded.
3.2 - Time limits
Allow up to 10 days for normal delivery on physical products.
The delivery date is indicative, subject to the accuracy of the information given by the customer.
Orders are processed on a day-to-day basis and are usually shipped on D + 1 or D + 2.
The delivery will be made by the Post (or by a carrier) according to the choice of the customer during his order.
3.3 - Shipping and Delivery
The shipping costs amount to 8.00 € for any order below 20.00 €. 4,00 € for orders less than 45,00 €.
They are offered for any order of more than 45,00 € delivery included to deliver to the same address in metropolitan France.
For any delivery outside France, the shipping costs are due whatever the amount of the order.
They are calculated according to the weight of the parcel and the place of destination according to the rates in force of our service provider.
Possible customs duties shall be borne by the buyer.
The goods travel at the risks and peril of the recipient whatever the methods of dispatch (colissimo followed or other).
The delivery address must not be a PO Box. The information stated by the purchaser, when taking an order, commits the customer: in the event of an error in the recipient's address details, the seller can not be held responsible for the impossibility of delivering the product.
The consignee must check the condition of the products on receipt and immediately make any reserves useful to the agent of the carrier.
Unsupported orders are not delivered.
Delivery times are given as an indication.
A delay will not be able to justify damages nor to be ground for cancellation of order.
4 - How to order
If the customer wishes to place an order, he must first identify himself. To this end, he will fill in a form made available to him, in accordance with the information provided on-line, in which he will include the information necessary for his identification, including his name, surname, postal address and delivery address.
The customer who has chosen the products presented will definitively validate his order, in view of a summary displayed on the screen, by "clicking" to express his commitment and his acceptance of the "General Conditions of Sale".
From that moment, the order is registered and irrevocable on its part.
An order number is communicated to the Customer.
Your cart allows you to easily prepare your order: add or remove products, change quantities, as you wish.

6 - Payment
Prices are invoiced in euros on the basis of the rates in force at the time of placing the order.
Payment can be made by credit card (credit card, visa, Eurocard, Mastercard).
This payment is secured by our partner PAYBOX.
Payment by check is accepted
Nevertheless the check will be cashed first to trigger the taking into account of the order.
The currency used is the Euro.
7 - Informatics and Freedoms
In accordance with the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access and rectify personal data concerning you. The Tea Route will not in any way communicate your contact information to other companies.
To have your information corrected, you only have to write us your name, surname, address and customer number to: LA ROUTE DU THÉ located at 14 Rue Lacépède 75005 PARIS - FRANCE.
8 - Disputes
In the event of a dispute relating to the interpretation or performance of the contract and any lack of an amicable agreement, any legal action will be brought before the competent courts.
9 - Retention of title
The Tea Route retains ownership of the products sold until full and effective payment of their price. The transfer of ownership of the products to the customer takes place at the time of the full payment of the price.
However, the customer becomes responsible for the products as soon as they are delivered, the transfer of possession leading to a transfer of risks.
The Tea Route can not be held liable for damages of any kind, whether material or immaterial or corporeal, which could result from the misuse of the products sold.
10 - Right of withdrawal
You have 14 days from the date of receipt of your goods to return products that would not suit you. The products will be refunded at their purchase price. Any open, incomplete or damaged product will not be refunded.
The costs of return will be at your expense.
11 - Error displaying sales price
All orders are invoiced at the advertised price.
If it turns out that the price displayed on the shop is wrong, it will be modified by us.
Any consumer who has overpaid an order will then be refunded the difference.
