Travel to discover our new harvest of Darjeeling.
It was in Northern India that we visited this year to share our passion in this spring harvest.
The Darjeeling, is located in an Indian region, verdant with tea plantations on a background of snowy hymalayan peaks piercing the clouds.
Among the diversity of this region of West Bengal, three plantations have attracted our attention.
The garden Makaibari, was our favorite, it represents the oldest certified organic plantation, held by Raja Benarjee, a real great tea master who gave us the chance to attend the 1st Harvest.
We then went to Tukvar (Puttabong) on the road to Sikkim and ended up making our selection on the Risheehat garden.
We went for you directly on the Indian plantations in order to enrich our knowledge to share and to select you the best crus 2016.
We report on this trip a wide selection of quality certified tea from organic farming.
In our luggage we could count, three black teas, a green tea, an Oolong and an exceptional white tea.
We would be happy to welcome you to share our passion and make you taste one of these wonderful teas.
Elixir of Amou Daria
Our previous journey took us to the heart of Central Asia, on the banks of the Amu-Daria River, which gave its name to an Elixir, the fruit of ancestral know-how that has always been appreciated in this part of the world.
LA ROUTE DU THÉ imports now this herbaltea elaborated from plants and cultivated flowers naturally all along the river, and recognized for their multiple virtues.
This very fragrant infusion offers fruity and flowery flavors from which emerge subtle notes of mango and apple, with a final persistence of marigold flower.
It can be enjoyed hot or frozen.
